LITTLE ROAD TRIP IN SICILY
THE PLACE WHICH
REMINDED ME THAT THE VITA IS REALLY DOLCE

What a challenging year 2020 is. I and a bunch of my friends decided to take off for a little road trip to Sicily. My first time on the island was exploring Catania, what a crazy time back almost a decade ago. This time we went driving from Pozzallo harbor across to Taormina. Feeling magic since an early morning arrival, heading straight to the Isola Bella beach and our beach shack with hot tub and drinks keep on coming to our room.
Only a couple of hours later bright sky changed to grey and pouring rain and thunderstorm shocked us while enjoying lunch at the beach club. I was more than happy to feel the rain, fresh air and people swimming and some running off the beach. First night dinner at an amazing dining place called Granduca located in the heart of Taormina. Fantastic food, a great atmosphere, and magical Taormina just made me the feeling that I cant wait to come back while I have just arrived.

Dolce Vita

Five nights in Taormina and every day grabbing an ice lolly while walking the streets has become our ritual. Days relaxed at the beach and nights tasting new menus of different restaurants. Relaxed AF.

Time to move to the next planned destination, Sciacca. Breathtaking views, perfectly adjusted golf courses, and the biggest pool I have ever seen in my life. Verdura golf resort was our new home for a few nights. The thing which I remember the most is the best beef steak, amazing beach with white sand reminding me of Maldives and cycling the resort while laughing all the way.
"Hidden paradise I didn't need to cross the globe for"
